There are many stories about the 10, how it both united and divided the region, and the significant role it plays in many aspects of community life now versus 40 years ago. These issues and concerns, as well as the landscape altering structure itself, raise serious questions about our relation to place, living space, and community, questions for concern and discussion now and in the foreseeable future.

Ultimately, understanding the connections between people, nature, and the built environment begins with understanding change locally. City by city, ‘Living on the Dime’ will encourage community members to speak out on their concerns about development and quality of life and hear local heritage from people of a variety of backgrounds.
